Direct Access Scheme

At 21 or over you can train and take your test to obtain the Standard A motorcycle licence. A full unrestricted licence allowing you to ride any size of motorcycle. We offer intensive DAS courses or lessons in this catergory for training up to test standards. We use Honda CB500cc machines, which is the minimum requirement for taking the practical test for this category of licence. You will be assessed by the same instructor during your CBT who will then go on to train you to test standards. Regardless of where you obtained your CBT, you will be required to have an assessment so the Instructor can assess your requirements. We offer 2 hourly lessons, or intensive courses (usually 2 days). Sometimes lessons will be recommended before doing a course, depending on the ability of the rider. Your training includes use of safety equipment, radios, bike, fuel and insurance. Lunch is also supplied if you are on an intensive course.
